Dreaming Gifts for the World Dreams Peace Bridge

Often in dreams we receive valuable advice or gifts of creativity. There are many reports of people who have dreamt original designs for their bands new cd cover, or found themselves reading a previously unseen page from a book they plan to produce.

Though we can wait for wonderful dreams like these to occur, we can also intentionally seek out these gifts in our  dreams. This is commonly known as incubating a dream. The art of incubating a dream has valuable implications for the World Dreams Peace Bridge, as it is a simple way in which people can contribute to the work being done here.

Intent
Your intent for dreaming is a key. You need to decide what it is you wish to achieve. You can start with something simple such as 'I would like to dream a gift for the World Dreams Peace Bridge'. Mentally prepare yourself for the dream, by repeating this phrase to yourself in the hours leading up to sleep. It may also help to occasionally rephrase this statement, perhaps asking yourself "What am I going to achieve in dreaming tonight?". With the continued will to succeed, it becomes quite easy to bring back very empowering dreams.

Visualization
Visualization of related imagery is a valuable tool, for signaling to the dreaming mind that you wish to bring back a gift for the World Dreams Peace Bridge. Here is a simple visualization that you could use, as you lay awake at night.

1. With all the lights off, sit up in your bed, holding your hands in front of your chest - with palms facing towards you.

2. Begin a simple breathing exercise, such as breathing in for five seconds, holding for five, out for five, hold for five, etc.

3. While doing this try and visualize your hands quite clearly, paying special attention to the buzzing sensations, and lines of energy that form between your fingertips. Gradually you will be able to see the outlines of your fingers in the dark.

4. You then extend this visualization by imagining yourself holding a gift. In the dark, you can run your fingers over the invisible gift - absorbing your senses in the texture of the wrapping. Under the ribbon, you may see a printed page - perhaps the main homepage of the World Dreams Peace Bridge with it's logo clearly present. You can make your assertion stronger by perceiving your own energy flowing into the gift that you hold.

5. Once you feel the visualization is complete, remind yourself one last time of your intent. Now is the time to go to sleep. Don't continue thinking about the project, just imagine that when you wake up you'll be pleasantly surprised by a successful dream. Try to use simple breathing exercises, to keep the internal mutterings of your mind at a minimum.

Recognizing a dream
Recognizing a successful dream is not always easy. If you're lucky, you may find yourself visiting the World Dreams Peace Bridge website, reading about the details of a new project. Few would have difficulty in recognizing the value of the dream.

However sometimes our dreams have to speak to us in symbols - perhaps to identify an issue that can't be demonstrated so simply. The feelings that we experience during these dreams, can be an important guide to what it may have meant.

It's most important to share these dreams with others. The dreams you receive, sometimes incorporate elements of the group and it's projects, which may be unrecognizable to the individual. Even if you are not sure of any relevance, perhaps someone in the group may shed light on it's meaning.

Practice
Remember practice makes perfect. You can in successive dreams seek out further information to help bring an idea into fruition. Your ability to create visual stories to signify a goal to your dreaming mind, is an important tool which can be applied to all kinds of dream incubation. As you continue with this approach to dreaming, you will find that this 'storytelling' technique of visualization becomes a very enjoyable task.

The World Dreams Peace Bridge looks forward to hearing your dreams.

Good Luck and Keep Dreaming!
Many thanks, from Explora (explora@dreamofpeace.net)
