Rainbow Medicine Blanket Council Mission Statement

"The way of true democracy in the Medicine wheel ways teaches that men must be humble enough to reach the Earth-Woman Lodge, to learn primarily from women, with respect and consciousness. . . It is here that women can educate them about the skill of true organization, Earth timing, ways of respect of all natural things on this plant, Earth economy, ecology, veneration of the sacred and feminine laws of this plane."

The arch of the Rainbow Medicine Blanket touches the earth in beauty and we follow it wherever it may go. Earth-wisdom cultures teach us to honor our place in the world and to fulfill the imperative to care for as we wish to be cared for.

The Rainbow Medicine Blanket Council provides consulting services to corporate entities and world-wide governments. Combining prophesy with strategy, RMBC Clan Mothers are the daughters of universal navigators, forbearers of cultural diversity. We possess generations of oral tradition within the blueprint of our genius.

Due to extreme weather conditions, the necessity for migration will become more apparent on this planet. The continuing cycle of life depends on cooperation. Emphasizing peacemaking from our family to yours, we welcome corporations becoming sustainable eco-villages.

Rainbow Medicine Blanket Council was founded on sovereignty. It offers cultural wisdom on an individual or group basis regarding environmental health, village relocation, healing with ancestral allies, handshake treaty reconciliation, and the spiritual physics of sacred sites for pyramidal reconnection. We conduct all phases of corporate management productivity and relocation as well as withdrawal of military weaponry.

Through native clan mother advocacy, we share the best of our collective struggles to manage and foster democracy according to the laws of nature reaching toward the future for the next seven generations.

Creating a whole standard of excellence and beauty in preparation of the Age of the Golden Dawn we work together in the creation of Corpa: an amnesty building, a place of dialogue with truth and resolutions and the support of United Cultures of the World ™ . Likened to a Cultural Think Tank, this is where spiritual native elders, politicians and leaders of faith can come together in a shared environment and find a resolution to land boundary issues through cultural diplomacy. It is also a place where information is shared with an environmental watch. Our Corpa community is modeled on solar and free energy. We support sustaining technologies, fair trade, grassroots communication, sustainable communities, eco-villages, community health care, and foster education on human rights through the spiritual connectedness of everything.

Carol (Elk Looks Back) Petersen, Founder of the Rainbow Medicine Blanket Council

“When the Eagle flies with the Condor, a healing of all nations will take place in the Western Hemisphere.”

MazatepetlThe separation of Native People indigenous to the land from their ancestral communities by colonial governments, corporate and religious entities, and a global political warehouse determined to patent native foods and native blood while polluting water, air, and soil has come to an end in Bolivia.

From the highest peaks of the Andes, the Mountain Condor has risen to greet the native family of sovereign nations, the Eagles of the North. Peacemaking of the Americas is heralding a respect for cultural diversity and opening a dialogue for fair trade.  Follow our example.  We will protect the children.

Honoring our elders, respecting the ley of the land, sharing traditions, and gathering peace-making families for a global village are the visions of the Rainbow Medicine Blanket. The unity of the cultures of the Americas will capture the attention of the world. Peace will prevail.

Carol Petersen is a bi-cultural woman of Nicaraguan and Danish heritage. Raised in Palo Alto, California, she began studying the healing arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1973.  Petersen had a private practice in holistic wellness which reached a critical mass when healing individuals jumped to a new level and her concerns became global. A spiritual activist from the people of the ancient temples of the Central American Maya, the Bolivian Aymara, and the native peoples of Argentina Amazonia, Carol Petersen became their voice.

In January of 2006, at the inauguration of President Evo Morales of Bolivia and on behalf of the joining of the eagle with the condor, Carol Petersen presented the eagle feather to the Aymara leader.

The temple of the Sun in Tiwanaku is represented by the stone caving being presented by Don Valentin Mejillones of Bolivia. He is Aymara and the chief coordinator of the Spiritual Ancestors of South America. As you may remember we have been asking for synchronistic sun portal celebrations bringing down the Rainbow Medicine Blanket during the solstice and the equinox.

Carol Elk Looks Back presented to President Drnovsek as a clan Mother of the Sacred Soto Band of the Anishinaabe Nation an eagle feather to President Drnovsek.

Manataka member and tireless ambassador for cross cultural understanding, Petersen travels to visit with heads of state in many foreign countries to open cross cultural understanding. In 2005, Petersen presented Manataka with the Rainbow Flag -- Aymara (pictured below) gifted by Valentin Mejillones, Aymara Spiritual Guide of El Alto, La Paz, Boliva. (pictured above). Petersen currently serves as the Coordinator of the Spiritual Elders of South America and Consejo del Saber Qulla (council of knowledge) in Latin America. Also in 2005, Petersen represented the Manataka American Indian Council during a major gathering of spiritual elders of many countries in Latin America.

"Today we continue to prosper with a newly formed foundation.  It will continue to foster and enrich our common cultural relationship to the land in a harmonious way."

Manataka is proud of our powerfully dynamic friend and member.
