Gratefulness Dream-In
Nights of Feb 26 & 27
On
the weekend of 15th -16th millions all over the world expressed their
desire for a peaceful solution to the question of Iraq's possible breach
of United Nations rulings. The numbers of people involved in
peace demonstrations and their spread throughout the world was
unprecedented.
Let us pause in our continuing efforts to secure a peaceful solution to
send grateful good wishes to all those who in anyway whatsoever helped
produce this global cry for peace.
Let us incubate a gratefulness dream on the nights of 26th and 27th
February.
Before falling asleep set your intention to send through your dreams
grateful good wishes to all those who have spoken for peace. Do this
in whatever way you feel comfortable.
You may like to envisage all the people to whom you are sending your
grateful good wishes:
-
for
the people of New York who though attacked can still say
"no" to war.
-
for
the people of Turkey who faced imprisonment in marching for peace
-
for
the people who marched for peace knowing that they were putting in
jeopardy leaders whom they would normally support
-
for
all the millions of ordinary people who heard the arguments of leaders
and the media and still said "no" to war
-
for
all the people who faced cold or heat or wind or rain or long journeys
or financial difficulties or physical difficulties and still marched
for peace
-
for
all the people who made such demonstrations possible, the organizers
and those who argued against war when no-one else was saying
anything
-
for
all the people who in whatever way they could (praying, meditating,
sending rice, writing letters, passing on info on the net or by snail
mail or person to person and on and on) said "no" to war
-
for
all the dreamers who dared to try to support peace in a new way.
You may like to perform a
visualization. You could imagine gratefulness filling your heart and
flowing out through your hands to all the corners of the world.
You could say: "I live in a safe, loving, peaceful, and
abundant universe, and I get respect."
You may like to visualize the world as it could be if peace and
gratefulness were to fill it.
The next morning record your dreams on waking and submit them here.
Thank you.
